2015/04/13NewTrek Systems Limited won the Triple Gold Award of the Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme in April, 2015.
We are most happy to announce that the www.newtrek.com.hk website of NewTrek Systems Limited has been awarded the Triple Gold Award under the Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme 2015 organized by the Office of the Government Information Officer (OGCIO) of HKSAR. The award is to recognize that the NewTrek website has won the Gold Award for three (3) consecutive years since the establishment of this scheme in 2013!
The Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme is meant to encourage local enterprises and organizations to adopt accessibility design in their websites and mobile apps; to recognize the efforts and accomplishments of organizations that have adopted accessibility design in their websites and mobile apps; and to provide advisory support to help participating organizations make their websites and mobile apps accessible.
NewTrek is most privileged to incorporate the accessibility design into our website not only to facilitate our customers and different users, but also persons with disabilities and special needs.
Furthermore, NewTrek has made use of our in-depth and extensive knowledge and skills in adopting a website for accessibility and successfully assisted many of our customers in making their website conform to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (WCAG 2.0).
