In April, 2013, NewTrek won the Gold Award of the Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme competition organized by the HKSAR Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) and the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) to encourage local enterprises to adopt accessibility design in their websites. Having won the Gold Award in the Scheme, the website of NewTrek Systems (www.newtrek.com.hk) is being recognized to be more accessible and friendly to different community groups, thus contributing to a more caring and inclusive society.
