NewTrek Systems have been awarded the SOA-QPS4 by the HKSAR OGCIO in Three Categories of IT Services

NewTrek Systems take great pleasure in announcing that we have been awarded the Standing Offer Agreement for Quality Professional Services 4 (SOA-QPS4) by the HKSAR Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) in three categories of services: (Category 1) pre-implementation & independent programme / project management services; (Category 2, Minor) on-going services; (Category 3, Minor) implementation & combined system development services. The SOAs commence on 31 July 2017 for a contract period of 48 months.

The qualification requirements for the SOA-QPS4 are that a company must possess proven experiences in having successfully delivered a specified total value of IT project services in previous years; that the company must have a qualified team of IT professionals under its employment; and that the company must demonstrate the adoption of proven IT methodologies and the ability to deliver quality services.

NewTrek Systems have qualified for the SOA-QPS4 as we have successfully delivered numerous IT projects in the following service areas: IT consulting services for infrastructure design and production support; application software maintenance and infrastructure outsourcing services; and application software design, development and implementation services.

Within the next 48 month SOA contract period, NewTrek will not only dedicate our existing highly experienced and skillful IT staff members to serve our existing customers and the new SOA customers, but we will continue to invest in growing our businesses by recruiting additional, highly qualified IT professionals to support our expanding and valued customer base.

The SOA-QPS4 is part of the HKSAR Government's IT outsourcing strategy aiming to enlarge the delivery capacity for IT services; accelerate the delivery of IT solutions; and create a market of sufficient size to encourage the further development of the IT industry locally. The SOAs commence on 31 July 2017 for a contract period of 48 months.
